But, Did You Talk to Jesus?

DAY 2 OF 3

Talking to Jesus When You’re Scared or Sad

Everyone feels scared or sad sometimes, and that’s okay. What’s important is knowing what to do when those feelings come. Jesus understands your fears and your sadness, and He wants you to talk to Him about them. When you share your worries with Jesus, He gives you comfort and peace. It’s like when you talk to a parent or a friend about what’s bothering you, but even better, because Jesus can help in ways that no one else can.

The Bible tells us to trust Jesus when we’re afraid. When you feel scared, try closing your eyes and talking to Jesus in your heart. Tell Him what’s worrying you, and ask Him to help you. Jesus promises that He will never leave you, and He will give you the strength and courage you need. No matter what you’re going through, Jesus is always there to listen and to help you feel better.

Activity:
Think about something that scares or worries you. Write it down or draw it, then pray and give it to Jesus.

Prayer:
Dear Jesus, sometimes I feel scared or sad. Help me to remember that I can talk to You and that You will help me. Thank You for being my friend. Amen.
