Do you ever have to be told about something ten times before you actually remember it? Sometimes a brain can be like a bucket with holes in the bottom where thoughts just fall out. Jesus told his best friends several times that he was going to come back to life, but guess who was super surprised when he actually came back to life? You guessed it: his best friends.

When you think about it though, it’s not surprising that they didn’t understand before it happened. Before Jesus, no one had ever died and raised themselves back to life. When there is zero life left in someone, they don’t stand up and ask for a piece of fish.

With Jesus, God did something creative, unexpected, and unbelievably amazing. After he came back to life, Jesus not only asked for a piece of fish but could walk through walls and disappear. He had a body that will last forever. Being resurrected into an eternal body was a brand new God Math equation that no one could have predicted (except Jesus). But as it turns out, not even death can keep Jesus down. Death has been beaten forever and always.
