DAY 3 OF 7

It’s Not Easy…

Jesus tells us that to obtain, find, and have the door opened to us, it is necessary to ask, seek, and knock.

But this does not only concern our relationship with God. I believe that Jesus wanted to convey something even deeper and more powerful: He wants us to ask, seek, and knock on the doors of those who have not yet received God’s love.

We think and hope that people are looking for us to give them a good word. Sometimes, this happens, but generally, it should be the believer who asks, seeks, and knocks.

Jesus wants us to be bold and able to move skillfully in this world.

Is it difficult? Of course! That’s why Jesus tells us: “How narrow is the gate and hard the road that leads to life."

Your life in Christ has opened the door to heaven, but striving to enter through the narrow gate will lead you to a full life, here and now.

The comfort of an effortless life is equivalent to walking the spacious road and entering through the wide gate. Believe me, “many are those who enter through it” and find neither life nor peace.

I invite you to say this simple prayer with me: “Father in heaven, thank you for giving me Jesus and for saving me through his sacrifice. I ask you to teach me to ask, seek, and knock even when I don’t feel like it and find it difficult. I want to enter through the narrow door. I want to walk that narrow path that will lead me to the full life promised by Your Son. In the name of Jesus, amen."

About this Plan

Start. A Full Life.

Have you ever read the story of the narrow gate in Matthew 7? A careful reader will notice that Jesus is referring to a lifestyle, a daily attitude that leads the believer to live a full and wonderful life. With this plan, we will discover how to obtain this full life by walking the narrow road and entering through the narrow gate. I anticipate that it will not be easy, but beautiful, rewarding and satisfying.
