DAY THREE ~ Jesus is the Truth
Ephesians 6:14 “...putting on the belt of truth …”
In the Gospel of John, we learn that Jesus is the Living Word and that His Word is Truth. John 1:1 reads: "The Word was with God and the Word was God."
On some level, this is a mystery but what we can understand is that Jesus’ Words are always true. As followers of Jesus, we believe God's Word is true and defy any alternative "reality" as inferior.
When we buckle the words of Jesus firmly around our center, we are not easily dislodged. When trouble comes we do not have to worry that He will fail us because we have settled the issue. We put on the Belt of Truth when we read the Word, meditate on it, and believe it.
Father, I thank You that Jesus said, '" am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.'"Today I put on the Belt of Truth, believing that no Word from Him will ever fail.* I thank You for teaching me Your Word, which is Truth.

About this Plan
Welcome to a season of prayer and fasting, and a 14-day Devotional to encourage you along the way. Let us each set aside some time and space to be ready to hear from Heaven. From this position, we can see new possibilities as we intentionally fix our eyes on Jesus, and discover just how powerful we are when we pray. This Devotion comes from Ephesians 6. Our prayer is that over the next few days, the Living Word will reshape our hearts and minds and we will see answers to prayer and encounters in the Word.
