Celebrating a Savior-Centered ChristmasSample

Day 1
Christmas. The word invokes so many emotions, sights, sounds, smells, and memories. But now it’s your turn to shape this wonderful and miraculous holiday for the next generation. You want to celebrate a Savior-centered Christmas with your family. You want your children to know the true meaning of Christmas, especially when all the other kids in school are talking about what Santa will bring. If your family has decided not to participate in the Santa Claus game, what are some loving and exciting alternative answers you can provide your children with?
There are many! For starters, you can and should read the Christmas story of Jesus’ birth from the Bible, such as in Luke 2:1-20. It can become a wonderful Christmas Eve bedtime tradition, along with attending a Christmas Eve church service. Then there are nativity scenes, charity drives, and Christ-centered Christmas hymns, all of which bring festive cheer in a Savior-centered way.
