Day 3: Stepping Out in Faith

Read: Joshua 3:1-8
Scripture Focus: Joshua 3:8 - “Tell the priests who carry the ark of the covenant: ‘When you reach the edge of the Jordan’s waters, go and stand in the river.’”

Devotional:
The priests carrying the Ark were commanded to step into the Jordan River before it parted. This act of obedience and faith activated God’s Miraculous Power. Only when they took the first step did the waters stop flowing, allowing the people to cross on dry ground.

Sometimes, God requires us to step out in faith before we see the full picture. Obedience often precedes the miracle. Whether it’s sharing the Gospel, serving in a new ministry, or taking a bold step in your personal life, trust that God will make a way as you walk in faith.

• Pray for courage to take bold steps of faith in your personal walk with God.
• Pray for peace and favor over other churches, church plans, and initiatives spreading the Love of Jesus in our region.
• Pray for our city and government leaders to have wisdom and guidance in navigating challenges.
