Fear Not, for I Am With YouSample

How are you doing today? I want to share something with you from Psalm 118, verses 5 and 6. It says: "I called upon the Lord in distress. The Lord answered me and set me in a large place. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do unto me?" May the Lord bless the reading of His Word.
In these verses, the psalmist shows us something powerful. In his moment of distress, he didn't turn to others—he called upon God. This is a lesson we can all learn from. Life is filled with challenges, struggles, and difficult situations—some of which may even seem terrifying. But no matter what you face, God is always right there. Whatever the distress, difficulty, or danger you're dealing with, it doesn't have to consume you. Call upon the Lord.
One thing we can be certain of in this ever-changing world is God's faithfulness. Everything around us shifts. Things that once gave us security—our jobs, finances, even relationships—can change in an instant. But God remains the same. His promises are unbreakable. His Word will never fail. "For God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and shall He not do it?" What God has promised you, He will bring to pass.
So, don't be afraid. Call on God with confidence. Hebrews 4:15 reminds us that Jesus understands what we're going through. "We do not have a high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin." Jesus knows your struggles, and He's ready to help. Come boldly to the throne of grace and ask for mercy in your time of need.
Whatever you're facing today, know God is ready to answer. Whether it's a challenge at work, issues at home, or trouble in a relationship, talk to God about it. Share your heart with Him, and He will show you the way. He's the One who knows everything, sees everything, and can provide everything. Just as the psalmist called upon God and was answered, so will you be.
The psalmist's story didn't end in distress. God answered him, and as he said, "The Lord set me in a large place." That's what God does. He doesn't just pull you out of trouble; He lifts you to a better place. He enlarges your territory. The place where you once felt limited or confined will be expanded as you trust God with your difficulties. He's ready to make a way for you, to transform your situation, and to provide what you need.
When you're in distress, don't turn to your friends or your own solutions. Turn to God. That's what the psalmist did, and that's what you must do. When you call upon God, He hears you. The One who created the heavens and the earth is ready to act on your behalf.
Be encouraged today. God is making a way for you. I pray that His Spirit rises within you, fights your battles, and grants you peace. Remember, "The Lord is on my side; I will not fear." God is with you. So don't be afraid. Whatever you face, it's only temporary. Everything comes to pass.
Stand firm in the Lord and in His strength. Don't let the circumstances around you distract you. Stay focused; by the end of the day, you'll see His hand at work. Believe that God has heard your prayers and will answer. You'll return with a testimony, a song in your heart, and joy in your spirit because you've encountered God's kindness.
I speak God's favor over your life today, peace over your family, and calm over your situation. May you experience God's presence in a mighty way. God bless you this morning. I pray He uses you in powerful ways. I love you, and Jesus Christ loves you. Go and do great things in His name. Goodbye for now.
