Why Do We Call It Christmas?Sample

Emmanuel is one of the many names for Jesus. At Christmas time, Emmanuel is the perfect name for Jesus – because it means “God with us.” Christmas is the perfect time to celebrate Emmanuel, because it is when Jesus came to earth to be with us – and to give up His own life so that we can be with God forever. Isn’t that just amazing? God actually came to be with us through his son, Jesus. This is what Christmas is all about! This is the start of the Good News – the very best news! Let’s praise the Lord with a song or a prayer thanking Him for sending His son!
