Demonic possession. That's a fun topic, right? Even hearing it out loud can make us uncomfortable, and if we're being honest, we don't fully understand it. Hopefully you've never experienced demon possession on the scale described in Mark chapter 5. This man was possessed by so many demons that he physically broke through chains. Today we don’t experience this kind of bondage, but there are probably other “chains” in your life that are getting hard to carry. Some things that you don't need but can't seem to let go of. Things that are holding you back from living in the freedom that Christ has given you.

What is that for you? Repeatedly deceiving your parents? Self-harm? Porn? Drugs? You fill in the blank. You probably wouldn't have to think hard to pinpoint the thing that is weighing you down. These things often take up a lot of space in our minds and use a lot of energy to hide from those that care about us. So why are you still carrying that weight?

The good news is that our Heavenly Father is the ultimate chain breaker. He is the ONLY way we can find real freedom from the sin that holds us back. So will you go to Him this week? Will your desire for Jesus be greater than anything else?"
