5 Reasons to Integrate Your Faith and Work: Reason Four

In this series, we’re sharing five reasons why incorporating your faith into your work has great value. Reason four is that faith in the workplace changes lives.

I’d been hiding from God for twenty years when I started working for Gregg. When I needed answers to business issues, Gregg never shied away from quoting a proverb or telling me a parable.

His servant leadership approach was different than I had ever experienced. Gregg’s courage and willingness to incorporate his faith into his business practices changed my life and eventually resulted in my desire to teach millions to do likewise.

Hebrews 10:38 teaches, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”

Gregg was one who did not shrink back when it came to his faith. Everyone around him knew his beliefs, and I watched over the years as it impacted many lives.

1 John 5:4 teaches, "Because everyone born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith."

Gregg's faith enabled him to overcome the world in more ways than I can count. He has an eternal victory of changed lives that comes from his faith and perseverance that can inspire us all.

Incorporating courageous faith in your workplace does come with risks, but it also dramatically changes lives.
