SPEND TIME WITH GOD

There's no formula or one right way to spend time with God. Whether you already know how you like to spend time with God or you're still trying to understand how to hear God's voice, today's challenge is going to help you experiment with some new ways of connecting with God. Try it and see what you discover about God—and about yourself, too!

Pick one full day when you will take note of every need you encounter. It could be something you see in your own life or in the world around you. In the morning, pray and ask God to help you notice the needs of those around you. When you see one, write it down on paper or add it to a list on your phone. If it's something you can care for right away, go ahead! But chances are, you won't be able to resolve many of the things you'll notice in the moment. The idea isn't to be a problem solver but to sharpen your ability to notice where the needs are.

Take out your list and pray about what's on it. Choose one of the items you want to do something about tomorrow and ask God for wisdom on how to do so. Take time to thank God that Jesus shows us how to notice needs.
