Unhidden: Unmask Shame, Embrace Authority, and Lead Others to ChristSample

Day Three | No More Playing Small – Called for More
Jeremiah tried to play small. He told God he was too young, too unqualified, and not the right choice. Sound familiar? Yet God’s response was clear: “Do not say you are too young… I appointed you.”
Too many women shrink back from purpose because of fear or insecurity. But Ephesians 2:10 declares you are God’s workmanship, created for good works prepared in advance. That means your life has a divine assignment. You are not random. You are chosen.
Jesus called you the light of the world—not to hide, but to shine (Matthew 5:14-16). 2 Timothy 1 reminds you to fan into flame the gift of God in you. Living unhidden means showing up in the fullness of who God made you to be. It’s not arrogance—it’s agreement with Heaven.
Every time you minimize your voice, second-guess your gift, or stay silent out of fear, you are dimming a light God designed to shine brightly. You don’t need a platform to walk on purpose—you need obedience. God doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called. Playing small may feel safe, but it also keeps others from seeing the power of God at work in your life. When you walk boldly, you give others permission to do the same.
Like Jeremiah, you might have a list of reasons why you’re not ready. But God didn’t consult your résumé before calling you—He appointed you according to His plan, not your comfort. Playing small isn't humility; it's resistance to the greatness He placed inside you. Your “yes” matters because your calling is connected to someone else’s freedom.
Your Action Step:
Write down three areas where you’ve been shrinking back. Next to each, write one bold action you’ll take this week to show up fully.
Pray This Prayer:
Father, forgive me for not seeing myself the way you see me, according to Ephesians 2:10. for believing I wasn’t enough. I lay down fear and pick up courage. Fan into flame every dormant gift. With your guidance, I will not play small—I will rise in purpose and shine for Your glory. Guide me and refine me. You are mighty to save. Amen.
See you on Day Four.
About this Plan

God never created you to live hidden—shrinking back in shame, pretending to be someone you’re not, or playing small when you’ve been called to lead. This 5-day Bible plan will guide you through what it means to live Unhidden—vulnerable before God, free from guilt, walking boldly in your authority, and leading others toward the finished work of Jesus Christ. It’s time to take off the mask, rise in faith, and be who God always knew you to be.
