The Great Adventure: 30 Days Walking With Jesus Sample

Day 9 – Choosing Jesus
"Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there."
Galatians 5:24 (NLT)
Think About It:
Every day you face choices: Do your chores or play video games? Tell the truth or lie to avoid trouble? Help someone or ignore them? Following Jesus means choosing what He wants over what feels easy or fun in the moment. It's like choosing vegetables over candy. Vegetables are better for you, even though candy tastes good right now! When you pick Jesus' way instead of being selfish, you're showing that you truly belong to Him. These daily choices might seem small, but they're actually training your heart to love God more than anything else. Each good choice makes the next one easier!
Let's Pray:
Lord, thank you that You know the best for me. Help me choose what You want over what I want, even when it's hard. Make my heart love You the most. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Question of the Day:
What's one choice you can make today that shows you belong to Jesus?
