30 Days of Endurance for Women LeadersSample

Week 2 — Built to Withstand
Day 11: What to Do When You’re Tired
Biblical Basis: Galatians 6:9 (ESV)
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”
Devotional:
Fatigue and weariness are natural byproducts of long-term endurance, especially in leadership. Paul acknowledges this reality without sugarcoating: Don’t grow weary—it’s a command, not a suggestion.
The phrase “doing good” encompasses all acts of obedience, service, and faithfulness that characterize the Christian life. The temptation to quit is strong when exhaustion sets in.
Yet, Paul grounds his exhortation in hope: in due season we will reap. Endurance requires patience with God’s timing, a willingness to continue faithfully even when the harvest isn’t immediate or visible.
The key to overcoming weariness is not self-will, but a disciplined refusal to quit, anchored by the assurance of God’s promise. It is the unwavering resolve to keep walking, serving, and trusting, even when your strength begins to falter.
For the Kingdom woman leader, this verse is a lifeline: the call is not to sprint but to pace yourself with the assurance that persistence produces fruit.
DEEP Reflection:
- D – Draw Near to God:
Pray: “Lord, when my strength fades, renew my spirit. Help me to persevere and not give up on the work You’ve called me to.” - E – Examine the Text:
Read Galatians 6:7–10. What is the principle of sowing and reaping, and how does it relate to endurance? - E – Engage Your Heart:
In what areas of your life are you feeling weary or tempted to quit? How does this promise challenge or encourage you? - P – Practice the Principle:
Identify one small act of obedience or service you can commit to today, even if you feel tired. Take this step in faith, trusting God’s timing.
By the end of your day, reflect on the following question: When fatigue sets in, where do you typically run first—God’s presence or self-effort?
See you on day twelve.
