Finding the WordsSample

Dear Lord Jesus,
You are the Light of the World. You are the hope for all mankind, the only hope for our salvation, and the One who enables us to rejoice in suffering, persevere through hardship, and live victoriously in a world of defeat.
Lord, You came into this world and won the victory for us upon the cross. At the moment You died, You shouted that it was finished. Our salvation is fully paid for and our eternity is secure. You also promised to come again and establish Your kingdom and to create a new heaven and earth that we might be together forever. In light of this eternal blessing, our current struggles are momentary and light.
And so, dear Lord, we pray that we would be a people of uncommon hope. That we, those who have trusted in You for our eternity, would trust You and rejoice in You also for our today. May we live consistently on this earth as we are named in heaven, and Lord may the world around us meet You, the God of hope, through our witness.
We pray these things today in the name of the One who died and rose again, AMEN
About this Plan

Ask many Christians about their prayer life, and they will admit their struggle to find the words to pray. For thousands of years, liturgies have helped believers articulate words in their communication with God. This collection of 30 prayers (and the Scripture behind them) is designed to improve our prayer lives as we allow God's Word to populate our words in prayer.
