The first promise of God to those who call upon Him is 'great things'. What does that mean? It means that what is to be revealed are God-sized plans. Not only in terms of possibilities, but with a specific purpose and eternal impact. Though it may manifest in the natural realm as blessings, the purpose of 'great things' is first and foremost for the Kingdom of God to prosper in the hearts and minds of people. That means it is of vast significance, carrying weight in the heavens and on the earth. What our heavenly Father desires to reveal is eternally valuable and will transform our lives and align us with His glory. It will be related to your purpose here on earth right now!

These 'great things' are not to make you great, or make your reputation great, or make your business or country great. These 'great things' of God, when we allow them to flow through our lives, are like building blocks God lays in and through our lives in this generation for His glory. In this way He builds His Kingdom through us! When you call to Him, He will reveal the 'great things' He has planned concerning your life, your family and the souls that must come into His Kingdom through your life lived in obedience.

PRAY

Lord, awaken my heart to the greatness of Your purposes. Help me set my eyes on things above where You are, so I will know and comprehend how to give You glory in and through my life.
