Chosen and Set Apart: Walking in Your God-Given Identity

DAY 2 OF 5

Reading: Luke 10:17–20

Devotional:
Jesus has given us authority over the enemy. Often, we live far below our spiritual potential, forgetting the power we have in Christ. Reflect on areas in your life where you feel powerless or defeated.

Now, consider those same areas in light of the authority Jesus has given you. How might your approach to challenges change if you truly believed in and exercised this authority?

Today, practice speaking words of authority over your circumstances, remembering that your name is written in heaven.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for giving me authority through Your name. Forgive me for forgetting who I am in You. Help me to walk in confidence, not fear. Teach me to use the power You’ve given, to pray boldly, to resist the enemy, and to live with Heaven’s authority on Earth. My victory is in You alone. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Application:
Speak God’s Word out loud over one area where you’ve felt defeated. Replace fear-filled thoughts with faith-filled declarations like, “In Christ, I have authority and victory.”
