Don´t Lose Hope

DAY 4 OF 6

Even though the decree is signed

In the book of Esther, we see a terrible plan against God's people devised by Haman, King Ahasuerus’, right-hand man and second-in-command. The terrible thing about this plan was that the decree had already been signed within a governmental system where it was irrevocable. The order was to destroy and kill all Jews and take their possessions.

In light of this, Mordecai asked Esther to speak to the king, but she told him she couldn't because she hadn't been summoned and could be executed. So Mordecai told her, "For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place" In other words, "I know God will do something."

Mordecai had that tiny spark of hope in his heart that God could do something to free the people from the judgment that had been placed upon them; that is hope.

About this Plan

Don´t Lose Hope

When you're in a season of tribulation where everything seems dark, hope gives you a choice. It's that inner hope that, even though you don't know how or when, God can do something.
