Surrounded: Living With Confidence in God’s ProtectionSample

Reading: 1 Corinthians 12:12–27
Devotional:
We are all part of one body in Christ, each with unique gifts and roles. The enemy loves to divide what God has joined, but unity is our spiritual strength.
Paul reminds us that no part of the body is greater than another, every believer has purpose. When one suffers, we all suffer; when one rejoices, we all rejoice. Unity isn’t uniformity, it’s harmony. It’s believers working together under one Spirit and one Lord.
Reflect on how you contribute to the body of Christ. Are there relationships where division has crept in? Ask God to heal, restore, and help you see others through His eyes.
Prayer:
God, thank You for placing me in Your body, the Church. Forgive me for times I’ve compared, competed, or criticized. Make me an agent of unity and encouragement. Help me use my gifts to build others up, not tear them down. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Application:
Encourage one person in your church or community this week. Send them a message or speak a word that builds them up. Choose connection over criticism.
