Use God’s Word as a Shield Against Temptation and Seek Wisdom to Discern
Temptation thrives in darkness, but the Word lights the way. It not only shows us where to go, but what to avoid. When Scripture is stored in the heart, it becomes a shield for the soul, guarding our thoughts and directing our actions. This morning, ask God to deepen your hunger for His Word, not just to read it, but to live by it. Let it shape your responses, filter your thoughts, and anchor your steps. When temptation comes, His Word is not just defense, it’s deliverance.
Prayer: Lord, plant Your Word deep within me. Let it rise up when I’m tempted and whisper truth when I’m unsure. Teach me to use Scripture as both a weapon and wisdom. May Your Word guard my heart and light my path today. Amen.

About this Plan
The Prayer Tithe began as a whisper from God: “Tithe your year in prayer.” Just as we give the first of our income, the Lord invited the author to give the first of her time—37 days, two prayer watches each day—as a sacred offering.
