Concerning PrayerSample

Are you in Agreement?
Yesterday we looked at believing that you have received, this is the emphasis of Mark 11:23-24. This is the attitude we take to prayer. However, one key thing to note is that: your heart must agree with your mouth.
So many believers, in the place of prayer, while in the very act of prayer doubt what they ask for! They have violated the Mark 11:24 rule: “...when you pray, believe you have received...” If one does not believe while he makes the prayer, it is as well as shooting oneself in the foot. One might as well stop the prayers, because the person has no faith to receive; hence, the person cannot have what he or she has asked for.
YOU MUST BE IN AGREEMENT WITH YOURSELF YOUR HEART AND MOUTH MUST SAY THE SAME THING.
For example, for finance, one might be praying for, let’s say, a supply of 500k, but in his heart has faith for 70k. That is what he will have. That is why, at times, if we take stock of our answered prayers, it is always in line with what we had faith for always (this is one key reason we ask other people to pray with us; in doing so, there’s more faith to receive that particular thing. We will talk about this some other time).
Why this doubt when praying happens is because of things like:
- Thinking if God can do it;
- We want it urgently, so we are wondering if it’s possible;
- Doubts arising from how you have viewed the issue;
- Other failed moments when we prayed; etc.
But one cheap way to guarantee answers: be in agreement with yourself in heart and mouth. It starts with the heart, because out of the heart the mouth speaks (sometimes we use faith to cover up and just say words, but deep down we don’t really believe them as such). So get in the word, build some spine, develop a BIG mindset of God, in faith and boldness, SPEAK IN AGREEMENT and watch the Lord do wonders.
ACTION POINT
Take a day or two to build yourself in the word, be in agreement in heart, mind, and word. Pray about a SPECIFIC thing, and fix a timeline to it. You will get amazing results.
