Sit. Walk. Stand. Sample

Stand in Christ’s Victory
Have you ever felt like life is a battle you’re losing? Paul ends Ephesians with one powerful word: Finally! After learning to sit and walk, we learn to stand. But not in our strength... in Christ’s victory.
Paul reminds us:
- The enemy is real, but defeated.
- The battle is spiritual, not natural.
- Our strength is found in the Lord, not in ourselves.
The armor of God is not a checklist but it’s a picture of Jesus Himself. Truth, Righteousness, Peace, Faith, Salvation and the Word clothe us in the armour of Christ.
You don’t put on armour like clothing, you remain in Christ, and His victory becomes your covering. When you pray, worship, or declare God’s Word, you’re not fighting for victory, you’re fighting fromvictory.
The enemy’s greatest tactic is deception... getting you to forget your seat, abandon your walk, or doubt your authority. But the cross disarmed the enemy, and the resurrection enthroned Jesus far above every power.
Stand firm. You are protected, empowered, covered, and commissioned.
You are seated in Christ, Christ is in you as you walk and His victory is how you can stand!
Reflection Question
Where do you need to stop striving and start standing in Christ’s finished work?
Practical Application
Pray Ephesians 6:10–18 slowly today, putting Christ at the center of each piece of armor.
Prayer
Jesus, thank You that Your victory is complete. Strengthen me to stand firm in truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and Your Word. Remind me daily that I face every battle from a place of victory. Amen.
About this Plan

Have you ever noticed that you can be physically at rest, yet internally restless? The world, the flesh, and the devil all conspire to pull us out of that inner rest. But in his letter to the Ephesians, Paul anchors us in a greater truth: we are seated in Christ. This spiritual reality isn’t just a theological concept, it’s transformational. It’s meant to shape our internal world, grounding us in peace, identity, and purpose no matter what surrounds us. This study is designed to equip you to 'Stay in the Seat'.
