DAY 10: JESUS — THE LIVING WATER

Study Scriptures:

John 4:13–14 (NKJV)

“Jesus answered and said to her, ‘Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.’”

Isaiah 44:3 (NKJV)

“For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, and My blessing on your offspring.”

Revelation 22:17 (NLT)

“Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life.”

The Living Water is Jesus Himself, the One who quenches every spiritual thirst.

In John 4:10‑14, Jesus tells the Samaritan woman, “Whoever drinks the water I give will never thirst again.” He isn’t talking about regular water, He’s offering Himself as the ultimate source of spiritual satisfaction.

The world offers many wells that dry up.

People chase money, fame, relationships, or achievements, hoping they’ll fill the emptiness inside. But each of those “wells” runs dry when circumstances change, leaving you thirstier than before.

The water Christ gives becomes an eternal fountain within you.

When you receive Jesus, the Holy Spirit settles inside you like a spring that never stops flowing. This inner fountain supplies life, hope, and purpose that no external situation can take away.

It’s the life of the Holy Spirit, refreshing and renewing your soul daily.

The Spirit constantly updates your heart; bringing peace in anxiety, joy in sorrow, strength in weakness. It’s a daily renewal, not a one‑time fix.

How to drink from this Living Water

1. Ask in faith – “Jesus, give me the Living Water” (John 4:14). Simple, honest prayer opens the channel.

2. Stay in His Word – Scripture is where the Spirit “springs up” (Isaiah 55:1). Reading it is like drinking from the fountain.

3. Worship and listen – Singing praises and quieting your heart invites the Spirit’s refreshing flow.

4. Serve others – When you give love, you experience the overflow of that inner spring.

Jesus isn’t just a historical figure; He’s the Living Water that satisfies every deep craving. Unlike temporary “wells,” His Spirit creates an endless fountain inside you, renewing you day by day. Drink deeply, and you’ll never thirst again.

When your spirit feels dry, return to the Source. His presence restores your joy, passion, and strength. You are not meant to live in spiritual drought you carry the river of life within you.

CONCESSION

Jesus, You are my Living Water. My soul is refreshed and filled with Your Spirit. Rivers of living water flow from within me, bringing life wherever I go.

PRAYER DECLARATION

Father, thank You for the Living Water that flows from Jesus into my life. Holy Spirit, fill me afresh every day. Let Your river overflow into every dry place around me. Make me a vessel of refreshment to others in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
