Believer’s AuthoritySample

Exercising Authority Through Faith and Prayer
Having authority and using authority are two different things. Many believers know about their power in Christ, but rarely act on it. Authority must be exercised through faith, prayer, and persistence.
James 5:13 says, “Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray.” Prayer is the believer’s response to affliction, not fear, worry, anxiety, or discouragement. And John 8:32 reminds us that “you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
To be able to exercise your authority, you must first know what Christ has already done. Then, believe it with your whole heart and act on it. Refuse to be subdued by sin, sickness, or oppression. Speak God’s Word with faith. Take a stand in prayer and don’t give up until things align with His promises.
Stay grateful for Christ’s finished work. Remain joyful even when you don’t see results immediately. Walk in the Spirit daily, that’s how you stay connected to divine power.
Authority isn’t loudness; it’s confidence in Christ. It’s knowing that the One who conquered death now lives in you, and His power flows through you.
You have the right, the authority, and the responsibility to live free and to set others free in Jesus’ name.

About this Plan

Every believer in Christ has been given authority, the divine power to rule over sin, sickness, and all the works of the enemy. Yet, many Christians live unaware of this truth, tolerating things Jesus already conquered on their behalf. This three-day devotional will help you understand and walk in your God-given authority as a believer. You’ll discover what Jesus accomplished through His death and resurrection, how to stand firm against the enemy, and how to exercise your spiritual authority through faith, prayer, and revelation
