DAY 2 — Your Mission Statement

Key Verse:

“Write the vision; make it plain.” — Habakkuk 2:2

A mission statement gives direction to your life. Without it, you drift — reacting to opportunities instead of discerning them. God is a God of intention, and He invites you to live intentionally too. A personal mission statement acts like a compass, helping you make decisions aligned with who you were created to be.

Your mission statement answers three questions: Who am I called to serve? What am I called to do? How will I do it? It does not need to be long or impressive. It needs to be clear, honest, and rooted in obedience. When life becomes confusing, your mission statement brings you back to center.

Jesus lived with unwavering clarity of mission. He did not try to meet every expectation or please every crowd. He knew who He was sent for and what He was sent to do. That same clarity is available to you as you walk closely with God.

A strong mission statement guards you against compromise. It helps you say no to distractions and yes to purpose. When pressure comes, it reminds you what matters most.

Can you write a one-sentence mission for your life?

Prayer:

Father, help me to live with clarity and conviction. Show me the vision You have placed in my heart, and give me courage to live it out faithfully. Teach me to align my plans with Your purpose. Amen.
