DAY 8 Choosing Integrity
Scripture: Proverbs 4:25–27
Devotional:
Integrity is the quiet strength of a creative life. It is choosing honesty over shortcuts, truth over convenience, and character over applause. Integrity is not glamorous, but it is powerful. It protects our hearts and keeps our path steady.
In creative work, integrity means staying true to what God has asked of us, even when no one is watching. It means honouring others’ work, telling stories with truthfulness, and resisting the temptation to compromise for approval.
Integrity is not perfection. It is consistency. It is the daily choice to align our actions with our values and our values with God’s heart. When we choose integrity, we build trust with God, with others, and with ourselves.
Lent invites us to examine where our integrity has been stretched thin and to return to the path of honesty, humility, and faithfulness.

God, keep my eyes fixed on You. Help me walk in integrity and honour You in all I do.
