Abide

DAY 1 OF 3

Stay Connected.

Connection determines growth. A branch doesn’t strain to produce fruit - it simply stays attached.

Without Jesus, life may function, but it won’t flourish. Psalms 1 compares a rooted life to a tree planted by streams of water, steady and fruitful in all seasons.

A branch does not strain to produce fruit. It stays attached.

In the same way, your spiritual strength will never come from trying harder. It comes from staying closer.

That kind of stability does not come from occasional inspiration.
It comes from daily nourishment.

When you read Scripture consistently, your roots deepen.
When you pray daily, your heart softens.
When you stay connected, you grow strong.

You cannot binge spiritual growth once a week and expect daily strength.

Abiding is a rhythm:

  • Read Scripture daily, even briefly.
  • Pray honestly, even if words feel small.
  • Return when you drift.

Try This: Set a 10-minute daily reminder to read the bible and pray. Start small, but start today.

Reflect;

Where have you been trying to grow without staying connected to Jesus?

Prayer;

Jesus, help me to stay connected to You.
I don’t want to do life on my own. Teach me to rely on You daily, not occasionally.

Amen.

About this Plan

Abide

Maybe you haven’t stopped believing in Jesus. But maybe you’ve felt distant. You still love Him, But prayer feels inconsistent. The Bible feels unopened. Church feels optional. John 15: “Remain in Me.” A branch cannot survive disconnected from the vine. This plan is your invitation - not to perfection - but to presence. Try This: Before reading Day 1, open your Bible and pray honestly, even a single verse or a 1-minute prayer counts. You Were Made to Abide!
