Abide

DAY 2 OF 3

Let Him Shape You!

Every branch that bears fruit is pruned.

Growth requires surrender.

Sometimes God removes things - habits, distractions, relationships - not to harm us, but to help us grow. Not because He is harsh, but because He is loving. Scripture corrects. Prayer aligns. Together, they shape the heart.

A gardener trims healthy branches so they can grow stronger. In the same way, God trims what limits your spiritual growth. He may confront your pride. He may challenge your compromise. He may invite you to let go of something that competes for your heart.

And then He gives you His Word.

Scripture cleans us. It corrects the lies we believed. It quiets fear. It realigns desires. When you read your Bible daily, you allow God to shape your thinking, your responses, and your identity.

Abiding is not passive. It is surrender.

Try This: Ask God today to reveal one small thing He wants to shape in your life. Write it down and pray about it, even if it’s uncomfortable. One step of obedience begins growth.

Reflect;

Is there something in your life that may be limiting your growth with God?

Prayer;

Father, I trust You even when You prune. Remove what hinders me and grow what honors You. Amen.

About this Plan

Abide

Maybe you haven’t stopped believing in Jesus. But maybe you’ve felt distant. You still love Him, But prayer feels inconsistent. The Bible feels unopened. Church feels optional. John 15: “Remain in Me.” A branch cannot survive disconnected from the vine. This plan is your invitation - not to perfection - but to presence. Try This: Before reading Day 1, open your Bible and pray honestly, even a single verse or a 1-minute prayer counts. You Were Made to Abide!
