Becoming the Man God Designed You to Be
At the end of the day, this journey is about becoming, not arriving.
There’s no moment where you suddenly “have it all together.” No point where you stop growing. Every man is in process. And that’s a good thing. Because it means God isn’t finished with you yet.
Psalm 128 begins with a man who fears the Lord and walks in His ways. That’s the foundation. Not success. Not status. Not recognition. A relationship with God.
From there, everything else flows. But let’s be honest, this isn’t always easy. There are moments where you feel like you’re falling short. Moments where you realize you don’t have the answers. Moments where you wish you could go back and do things differently.
Every man feels that.
Deep down, many of us are still like little boys, looking for approval, looking for direction, looking for someone to show us the way.
And that’s where Jesus comes in. He is the perfect example. The one man who got it right. The one we look to, not just for forgiveness, but for direction.
If you want to know what a real man looks like, look at Him. And here’s the powerful part: you don’t have to be perfect to make an impact.
Remember the blessing. Jesus took time to hold, speak to, and bless others. That’s something you can do every day. Through your words. Through your actions. Through your presence.
You can build something meaningful—even in the middle of your imperfections.
You can choose to:
- Walk with God
- Lead with integrity
- Speak life into others
- Stay faithful in the process
This is what it means to become the man God designed you to be. Not perfect. But growing. Not finished. But moving forward. And that matters more than anything else.
