When Trust Becomes a Decision!

DAY 2 OF 7

God’s got this—for you! 💪🏻

You know, when God allows me to go through something, I’ve come to realize that it’s not just for me—but for you too. After more than five years as a writer, you start to understand things like that. 😉

When my mom pointed out that I love talking on stage about verses like Ephesians 3:20, but when I’m with my parents, I sometimes say things like, “I can’t handle this,” it really hit me at first.

And you know: when something hits you hard, you get to decide WHERE it will take you.

You can stubbornly say, “That’s not true!” Or you can open your heart to change.

I chose to let myself be changed because I want to be 100% real.

So I asked myself: “Do I believe what I say on stage 100%?”
Clear answer: “YES!”

“Do I sometimes say things like, ‘I don’t know what to do anymore’?”
Clear answer: “YES!”

And to be fair, even in my greatest moments of need—when I say, “I can’t do this anymore”—I still know that God can handle it for me, and that He will! 😉

Yes, when you can’t handle it anymore, God will handle it for you!

These “up-and-down” reactions aren’t new to God. David, the man after God’s own heart, was very much like us in this.

In Psalm 116, he says, “I was overwhelmed by distress and sorrow” (verse 3), and “I am greatly afflicted” (verse 10).

We’re allowed to feel these emotions—the key question is WHERE we take them.

And David always took them to God. Behind every desperate cry, you’ll find words like: “Then I called on the name of the Lord: ‘Lord, save me!’” (Psalm 116:4, NIV). This is what trust can look like. But what really matters is this: come to the One for whom everything is possible—even with tears on your face.

Because, yes, we know that God is “able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.” (Ephesians 3:20, NIV)

You are a miracle!

About this Plan

When Trust Becomes a Decision!

Trust doesn’t always feel natural—sometimes it’s a choice we make in the middle of doubt, fear, and exhaustion. In this 7-day journey, Déborah Rosenkranz invites you to be honest with God, examine your faith, and discover what happens when trust becomes a daily decision. Through Scripture, real-life moments, and prayer, you’ll learn how choosing trust leads to strength, closeness, and faithfulness—even when staying feels hard.
