Delighting in God’s Word
“But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.” Psalm 1:2 (ESV).
A blessed person delights in God’s Word and meditates on it continually. Meditation is not emptying the mind; rather, it is filling our hearts and minds with God’s truth. When we consistently think about scripture, it strengthens our faith, renews our thinking, and helps us stay grounded during both good seasons and difficult ones. What we meditate on shapes the direction of our lives. God invites us to fill our minds with His promises day and night.
What Scripture or promise from God do you need to meditate on today?
Prayer: Father God, Thank you for your Word. Please help me to delight in it and fill my mind with your truth every day. Please strengthen my faith and guide my thoughts so that I remain focused on you in every season. In Jesus name, Amen.

About this Plan

The world tells us to “live your best life,” but God calls us to live a blessed life. A blessed life is not about self-improvement through our own effort, but about being rooted in God, aligned with his ways, and transformed through his Word. Psalm 1 shows us what a blessed life looks like: what to avoid, what to pursue, and what God does in the life of someone who trusts him.
