Blessed LifeSample

Planted and Prospering
“He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.” Psalm 1:3 (ESV).
God wants our lives to be like healthy trees planted beside flowing water—strong, steady, and fruitful. Psalm 1:3 reminds us that there are different seasons in life. Some seasons are fruitful, while others are challenging. But when our roots are deep in God, we remain spiritually healthy even during difficult times. Biblical prosperity is more than material success. It includes peace with God, joy in our hearts, healthy relationships, and confidence in his provision. As we stay rooted in him, God strengthens us to thrive in every season.
How can you stay rooted in God during both fruitful and difficult seasons?
Prayer: Father God, Please help me to stay deeply rooted in you. Please strengthen me in every season and let my life bear fruit that honors you. Fill my heart with your peace, joy and faithfulness so I can be a blessing to others. In Jesus name, Amen.

About this Plan

The world tells us to “live your best life,” but God calls us to live a blessed life. A blessed life is not about self-improvement through our own effort, but about being rooted in God, aligned with his ways, and transformed through his Word. Psalm 1 shows us what a blessed life looks like: what to avoid, what to pursue, and what God does in the life of someone who trusts him.
