Today, I choose to allow God’s peace to wash over me and cleanse me from any jealousy towards my coworkers or competitors.
Today, I choose to rejoice in the successes of my co-workers and competitors. Today, I choose to take the time out of my busy schedule to come alongside a colleague who is struggling and help them excel. Today, I choose not to ignore or put down a co-worker.
Today, I choose to give thanks for the skills I have to do my job. Today, I choose to give thanks for each person I work with.
Prayer: Gracious Father, Loving Saviour, forgive us for the times when we have been jealous of our colleagues. Replace the envy in our hearts with your love so that we can love our co-workers. Precious Holy Spirit, fill us with your peace. Amen.
