True GreatnessSample

Greatness Defined.
But it shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. Mark 10:43-44 (ESV).
Jesus challenged the world’s definition of greatness. While people often associate greatness with power, status, and authority, Jesus taught that greatness is found in serving others.
In God’s Kingdom, influence grows through humility. The more we focus on helping others rather than promoting ourselves, the more we reflect the heart of Christ.
True greatness is not about being noticed. It is about faithfully serving wherever God gives us opportunity.
How can you intentionally serve someone this week without expecting recognition in return?
Prayer: Father God, Please help me to embrace your definition of greatness. Give me a humble heart that looks for opportunities to serve others and reflect the love of Christ each day. In Jesus name, Amen.

About this Plan

In a world that celebrates status, recognition and influence, Jesus offers a radically different definition of greatness. When his disciples argued about who was the greatest, Jesus taught them that true greatness is found not in position or power, but in humble service. Over three days, we will explore greatness desired, greatness defined, and greatness demonstrated.
