Got Water - A Serving DevotionalSample

All Called to Serve
We all have water (talents) to draw from our well. God has given everyone of His children abilities to use and we all are called. We are meant to serve together, not alone, this is God’s plan. Serving is faith; Serving is following; Serving is work. Yes, you are an imperfect vessel, we all are. Left alone, we have little hope of succeeding in helping the needy and pointing them towards Christ. Fortunately when we are used to make wine, to serve our Heavenly Father, we don’t makes the wine, we are just called to be ready to be used. Jesus takes our humble water and turns it into exquisite wine.

About this Plan

There are a lot of excuses for not serving God. Looking at Christ’s first miracle (John 2:3-8), we can see how can we offer up all we have, water from our own wells, in service to Jesus, the results are exquisite wine.
