Ancora Kids Meet ElijahSample

BREAD AND OIL
Do you remember the woman who only had a little oil left?
Elijah said to her, “Don’t worry. Go home and make some bread for me first. Bring it to me. Then go home and make some more for you and your son. God has promised that the flour and the oil will not run out.”
The woman went home and did as Elijah said.
Read today’s Bible verses to find out what happened next.
Do you think the woman expected that?
Did Elijah expect that?
Did you expect that?
Did God keep his promise?
What do you think about this story of Elijah? Which part do you like most? Would you like to have been there?
Pray: “Dear God, you are really amazing! Thank you that you always keep your promises.”

About this Plan

Elijah was a prophet (that’s someone chosen by God to tell people what God wants to say to them). Many people had turned away from God and were not doing what God wanted. This three-day children’s reading plan tells what happened when Elijah gave God’s message! The plan complements the free children’s game app Guardians of Ancora .
