ASSURANCE OF SALVATION

Jesus came to earth, he lived a sinless life, but died a criminals death. The eternal God invaded temporary creation, He took on the sin you and I committed and paid the price we should have paid with His life. He did not do this so you could simply become a better person, but rather that you may become a brand new creation. Jesus did this so that you may believe in his name and KNOW that you have eternal life. Since no man gave this gift of new life to you, no man can take it away and because you did not deserve it in the first place, you can never be undeserving of it! Therefore our assurance is found in no one and nothing but Jesus. "
