Letting Hope Flow through You

If I asked you if you’d like to be a vessel of hope, I’m sure you would say, “Of course!” But if I asked you how to do that, it might be difficult to come up with an answer. This is why so many Christians are discouraged today—they rarely see hope show up in their lives. What’s the answer?

If you’re hungry for hope and longing for it to show up in your life, the best thing you can do is show hope to someone else. For example, Isaiah 1:17 says, “Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows” (NLT). If you were to pick one of these five items and begin showing hope to others, you would discover the hope you’ve been looking for right in front of you.
