Live Hope Minute: Become A Champion Of HopeSample
An Emotion or a Decision?
A lot of people love the idea of having hope—they are looking for it all around—but very few know where to actually find it. I’m convinced that hope is less of an emotion and more of a decision, a posture one can adopt when you wake up in the morning and through every moment of each day. Romans 12:12 says, “Be joyful in hope.” This verse implies that hope is a destination we choose to go to. And then when we’re there, we are to be joyful.
I love how Eugene Peterson translates this verse: “Be cheerfully expectant” (MSG). Choosing to live hope in day-to-day life is an important decision you make. Our hope is rooted in faith, fueled by love, and guided by vision. And as a result, we live with great expectancy, filled with joy, looking ahead to see what God is going to do.
What attitude would you like to choose each morning? How can you more intentionally look for God to work in your life?

About this Plan
As we see chaos in the world around us, we want to have hope. But what is hope and where does it come from? Hope is more than simple optimism that things get better or a finger-crossed wishing that things go our way. Hope can be the most powerful force in life. Live Hope Minute explores the life-transforming concept of true hope and how to keep a godly perspective in our current circumstances.
