Time, Talents, Treasures, and Talk
Ask yourself this question: How can you tell if you’re worshipping God or other things in your life? You can find out by thinking about four different things:
Time—What do you spend most of your time on?
Talents—What are you good at? Do you brag about it, or thank God for it?
Treasures—What’s important to you? What would you never want to lose?
Talk—What do you talk about the most?
After you think about all those things, remind yourself that God is the only One worthy of your time, talents, treasure, and talk.
Challenge Question: When you thought about your time, talents, treasures, and talk, what did you find out? What can you do to make sure God is the only One you worship?
