Thirty-One Truths: Who I Am in ChristSample

PREDESTINED FOR ADOPTION
Predestination is God’s determining beforehand everything that would eventually happen in history. In reference to believers it is His predetermined plan to save them and make them like Jesus. In Ephesians, Paul specifically says God determined beforehand to adopt us as sons.

Have you ever been chosen for something or by someone? How did that make you feel? Is it a good thing to be chosen? If you are in Christ, God predestined you to be His! Contemplate this for a moment.
WRONG THINKING: God chose me. I must be pretty good!
RIGHT THINKING: God chose me even though He knew I was really bad. And I have only been able to choose Him because He first chose me.
