“Watch and pray so that you will not enter into temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak.”

Then Jesus returned to the disciples and found them sleeping. “Were you not able to keep watch with Me for one hour?” He asked Peter.

I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it anew with you in My Father’s kingdom.”

Then Peter remembered the word that Jesus had spoken to him:“Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” And he went outside and wept bitterly.

Rise, let us go! See, My betrayer is approaching!”

“Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him. “For all who draw the sword will perish by the sword.
