This publication is based on the translation of the Holy Scriptures published in 2015. The translation of the Holy Scriptures, including the Gospel, into the Tatar language was a collaborative effort involving the Institute for Bible Translation (IBT), the international organization SIL, the United Bible Societies (UBS), Tatar writers, editors from the Tatar Book Publishing House, philologists, and staff from the Institute of Language, Literature, and Art (IYALI) of the Tatar Academy of Sciences, as well as educators from Kazan State University (KSU). The team of translators and editors, along with religious scholars and Greek language experts, worked diligently to ensure that the text remained semantically faithful to the original while also being easily understandable. The primary text references the internationally recognized edition in Greek, the Novum Testamentum Graece (Nestle-Aland). The Holy Bible in Tatar, reviewed by scholars from IALI and Kazan Federal University, received a positive evaluation from the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences and has been officially approved. The Tatarstan Metropolis also expressed high appreciation for the publication. At the end of the book, a dictionary and geographical maps from that era are included.
