Ancora Kids See What Jesus Does预览
Like father, like son
Have you ever heard someone say, “You look just like your dad”? Or, “You sound just like your mum”? Jesus takes after his Father in heaven, not by how he looks but by what he does.
Read John chapter 9, verses 19 to 21, if you haven’t already done so.
Remember what you’ve read about on Days 1 and 2. First, Jesus healed a child without even seeing him – and the child was a long way away. Then, Jesus healed a man who had been waiting and hoping to get well for a long, long time. Now, Jesus is speaking to people who have seen what he can do.
From these verses, how does Jesus take after his Father, God?
Who does Jesus, the Son, give life to?
Can you think of three things that God does? Jesus does those too!
Pray. “God, the Father, thank you that you can raise the dead and give new life. Jesus the Son, thank you that you do what the Father does. Wow!”
Answers from the ‘True or False’ questions on Day 1:
False: it was the official’s son who was ill.
False: Jesus did agree to go to see the child.
True: Jesus healed the child at once.
True: the whole family believed in Jesus.
True: Jesus healed the child who was at home, 40 kilometres away.
