The Well Part I - Unexpected Love

The incredible thing about the love and grace of God is that we don’t deserve it and yet it is given so freely to us. It doesn’t matter who we are, where we’ve been, or what we’ve done, God wants to meet us right where we are at.

He knows everything about us, every intimate detail - the good and the bad. If we would come as we are, even with all our failings, His presence can transform our heart, remove any shame and bring freedom into our lives. God’s grace is never ending. His love is unconditional. (John 4:16-18)

The Samaritan woman met Jesus at the well that day, and her life was completely changed. Jesus knew all her faults and still He was gracious with her. (John 4:10, 13-14)

God wants to refresh and sustain us. If we would let the presence of God fill us, He can transform our lives and our relationship with God will grow deeper and deeper.

“His presence unburdens, His goodness sets me free” - ‘The Well’ by Calvary Worship

How do we enter into His presence?

One thing I like to do before getting into God’s word is to spend some time in worship. When we worship and take the time to focus on Jesus, it changes our perspective on everything else going on in our lives. Try to find a place, whether it be your lounge room, or back deck, or just a quiet place away from distraction, and just spend some time worshiping God. Put on a song and simply thank Him for who He is and what He’s done in your life. I find that when I take my eyes off my circumstances and focus on Jesus, the Bible comes alive!

'Coronation (Come and See)' Devotional

On Good Friday, the executioners tormented Jesus with a crown of thorns, a robe and a staff, feigning worship in a mock ceremony. In the upside-down Kingdom, what was intended to cut Jesus down, merely reflected what was really taking place: Christ’s Coronation Ceremony as the King of Kings. Come and explore the scriptures and heartbeat of CalvaryWorship.Global’s new album, ‘Coronation (Come & See)’ in this 10-day devotional.
