Make Your Dreams A Reality
Years ago, there was an earnest young man who went to a group of bankers and said, “I need you to invest in my dream. I want to build an entire company based on a mouse, a fairy, and seven dwarves.” They laughed him out of their building.
Well, the young man was Walt Disney, and today, the Disney empire he founded stretches around the world and across multiple platforms as one of the biggest media outlets on the face of the globe. But it never would have happened if it weren’t for the audacious dream of young Walt so many years ago.
The dreams that God has given us to accomplish in our lives are not meant to be kept hidden within our minds and hearts as mere “good ideas.” They are meant to be shared with the world and given a fair shot at being made into reality! Though the group of bankers may not have believed in Walt or his dream, I’m pretty sure he found others who chose to share his vision, standing by him through thick and thin.
As we seek to make our dreams a reality, we need to surround ourselves with people who can process what God has laid on our hearts and stand by us as we step out to achieve it. As the Bible says, “Without counsel, plans go awry, but in the multitude of counselors they are established” (Prov. 15:22).
If you have a dream that God has given to you, don’t hide it! Share it with others whom you love and trust. When you do, you may just find likeminded people who are willing to come behind you and help you achieve it!

Pray that God will give you great visions and dreams for your life. And pray that you will find others to share them with when He does!

First of all, you need to seek the Lord to know if your dreams are in His perfect will. Pray and fast; allow Him to speak to you. Then be led by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, and surround yourself with people whom you trust, those who will stand by you and help you to achieve your God-given dreams. Not only will your vision and dream give you the motivation and commitment to discipline your life, it will also inspire and affect others around you to live out their dreams in Christ.
