Matthew 28:6 NLT

He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as He said would happen. Come and see where His body was lying.

The tomb said - we lost Him. Death said - I failed. Sin said - I am defeated. And I say - my Lord is victorious!

Two things for our meditation today:

Firstly, the angel said, “He isn’t here.” Where? 

In the grave - where dead things lie, where hopes are buried, songs remain unsung. Christ isn’t here. 

God is not in the dead things. He is too much alive for that! Abraham believed in the God who gives life to the dead. Why not believe that God will breathe life in the dead areas of your life, your relationships today? 

Secondly, the angel said, “He is risen from the dead, just as He said would happen..” Whatever Jesus said, happened. Not one word from His mouth has failed or will ever fail. Therefore we can completely hold onto His words for our lives, knowing that we will never be disappointed. 

Meditate:

* 1 Corinthians 15:57 NKJV

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Pray:

* Thank the Lord for His promises are sure to come to pass.

* Bring to the Lord every area in your life which is dead - your mind, emotions, prayer life, relationships.

* Pray that the life of God will flow in you and energise you to do His will.
