When Satan first emerged on the scene of humanity, he immediately questioned God's trustworthiness. That act alone should alert us to his dangerous character. Thankfully, God knew it was coming and already had a plan for redemption, which He laid out and began enacting in Genesis 3. The same chapter in Scripture where sin is first introduced is also the first instance where blood was shed to cover sin.
