- When we accept God’s gift of salvation, it means the sins we have committed have been washed away.
- As Christians, we have a double birth; we have a physical birth, and we are born again—i.e., born from above.
- When we are born again, the Holy Spirit comes to live in us; and we get a new nature, a new heart, a new spirit, and a new way to live.
