What to Do When You're Not Healed

In the Bible, Paul said, "I know in whom I have believed." He didn't say, I know in "what" I believe. Job said the same thing, "I know my Redeemer lives." Both Job and Paul went through seasons of hurt and suffering, but they both resolved to "know," not "feel."

Get to know the unchanging nature of God. What do I mean by that?

We must move from having faith in healing to having faith in the Healer.

I have received many prophesies telling me that my wife and I will have kids. Some even said that by September of last year (2020) I would see the fruition of that prophesy–nothing. The reason why many people get disappointed in the area of healing is that they have faith in faith, not faith in God.

Had I put my faith there, instead of in God's faithful nature, that would have caused a huge disappointment in my life. However, even though that promise hasn't come to pass for me, I am not disappointed because I don't have faith in healing itself. Rather, I have faith in God's faithfulness to His Word. When I put my trust in God, I will never be disappointed.

I believe that Jesus took our sicknesses upon Himself at the cross, and by His stripes, we were healed. But my faith is not in the healing, it's in the Healer. He never fails.

Let your faith rest in Jesus, not in healing. Only then will you go from "feeling" to "knowing."

Know that your Healer is alive, trust in His Character, and feed on His promises.

Pray This:

Father, I don't want my faith to be built on the sinking sand. Highlight your faithful nature to me as I read Your Word and as I live day by day. Help me to build my life on You, the Rock and anchor of my soul.
